# Quick Start Guide - Church Membership System
## 🚀 Get Started in 5 Minutes
### Step 1: Install (2 minutes)
1. **Start XAMPP**
- Open XAMPP Control Panel
- Click **Start** for Apache
- Click **Start** for MySQL
2. **Run Installer**

3. **Enter Database Details**
- Host: `localhost`
- Database: `church_membership`
- Username: `root`
- Password: _(leave empty)_
4. **Click Install**
### Step 2: Login (1 minute)

### Step 3: First Tasks (2 minutes)
1. **Change Password**
- Click profile icon (top right)
- Select "Profile"
- Go to "Change Password" tab
- Update password
2. **Add Your First Area**
- Click "Administration" on dashboard
- Click "Manage Areas"
- Click "Add New Area"
- Fill details and save
3. **Add Your First Member**
- Click "Membership" on dashboard
- Click "Add New Member"
- Fill required fields
- Save

### Add a New Member
1. Dashboard → Membership → Add New Member
2. Fill personal information
3. Select Area/District/Assembly
4. Fill spiritual information

### Generate a Report
1. Dashboard → Reports
2. Select report type
3. Click "Generate Report"
4. Export as needed (CSV/Excel/PDF)
### Create a New User
1. Dashboard → User Management
2. Click "Add New User"
3. Fill user details
4. Set access level
5. Assign location
6. Save
### View Audit Logs
1. Dashboard → Audit Logs
2. Filter by module/action
3. Review activities
## 🔐 Access Levels
- **Superuser**: Full system access
- **Area Admin**: Area, Districts, Assemblies
- **District Admin**: Districts, Assemblies
- **Assembly Admin**: Assembly only
## 💡 Tips
- **Auto Member ID**: Generated automatically when adding members
- **Family Grouping**: Use Family ID to link family members
- **Batch Actions**: Use reports for bulk operations
- **Regular Backups**: Settings → Backup & Restore
- **Security**: Change default password immediately
